Bulverde Physical Therapy &
Wellness Center has been in business since 2000 and has proven to be one of the
best comprehensive physical therapy, rehabilitation, and wellness facilities in
the area. The facility proudly provides
one on one care delivered by licensed
therapists and certified personal trainers. Bulverde Physical Therapy is pleased
to announce they are providers for most insurance providers. The center is conveniently
located in the HEB Shopping plaza next to Subway in addition offers extended hours to accommodate
busy schedules.
Darlene and Ed McGill are both
owners and professionals in the field of physical therapy. “Our therapists are continually
improving their skills with advanced education courses so we are up to date with
current surgical and non-surgical procedures.” Bulverde Physical Therapy specializes in manual techniques complimented by specific
exercises focusing on quality of movements and performance. Modalities, including
ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and thermomodalities are also available.
The McGills feel the education
and personal attention provided to patients and wellness clients has greatly assisted
in the growth
 and success of the center. “We don't want people to be reliant on
treatments that last for months or years as other professions may; that can become
very expensive and escalates the already high costs of health care. We feel that
with proper education, people are frequently able to self manage their symptoms
as they arise. More importantly, education may assist in preventing problems from
occurring in the first place.” Therapists
focus on gearing treatments toward progressive function, rather than focusing on
modalities with minimal patient-therapist contact.
